Recently, Guangxi Normal University completed the localized deployment and comprehensive testing of the DeepSeek large model, providing teachers and students with intelligent and efficient personalized digital services.
This deployment fully utilizes the computing resources of the university's Key Laboratory of Educational Blockchain and Intelligent Technology, Ministry of Education. The model supports complex logical reasoning and in-depth interaction with long texts, offering customized services for teaching and research. All Q&A data from teachers and students is stored locally to ensure data security. The deployment was led by teams from the School of Computer Science and Engineering/Software School and the Network Information Center. Currently, the beta version (first edition) of the model has been officially launched. In the future, it will be freely available to all teachers and students, deeply applied in various fields such as education and teaching, academic research, and industry-education integration, becoming a "powerful assistant" for teachers and a "smart partner" for students.
It is reported that the successful deployment of the DeepSeek localized model fully demonstrates the university's responsibility in supporting the construction of Guangxi's "AI+" new track.
