The college has a total of 84 faculty and staff members, including 65 full-time teachers. Among them, there are 24 full professors and 23 associate professors. Forty-eight faculty members hold doctoral degrees, 19 serve as doctoral supervisors, and 2 are adjunct (dual-appointment) academicians. The faculty includes 2 recipients of national-level major talent programs, 1 Elsevier Highly Cited Chinese Researcher, 1 recipient of the first batch of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security's High-Level Overseas Talent Return Program (among 20 nationwide), 1 recipient of the Ministry of Education's New Century Excellent Talent Award, and over 30 provincial/ministerial-level talents including Guangxi Bagui Scholars and Guangxi Outstanding Youth Fund recipients.


The college has established five innovation research teams, including the Guangxi Big Data Intelligence and Application Talent Highland Innovation Team, the Intelligent System Security Theory and Technology Bagui Scholar Research Team, and the Guangxi Natural Science Foundation Innovation Team.


Faculty members have received 2 National Science and Technology Progress Awards, 1 National Defense Science and Technology Award, and 10 provincial/ministerial-level science and technology awards. They have led major national projects including the National 863 Program, National 973 Program, National Key R&D Program, Australian ARC projects, and NSFC Joint Fund Key Projects. From 2017 to 2022, faculty members secured over 50 ongoing national-level projects with total research funding exceeding 40 million CNY. They have published more than 270 SCI papers in top-tier international journals such as TPAMI, TDSC, TKDE, TIP, TMM, TNNLS, and TCSVT, along with over 60 papers presented at prestigious international conferences including AAAI, IJCAI, and CVPR.

In 2020, faculty research on Several Models for Classification Under Data Selection won the Guangxi Natural Science First Prize, marking the college's first provincial-level top science award. In 2021, the college achieved another milestone by securing the key project Precision Security Computing Technology for Multi-ethnic Cross-domain Diverse Data Aggregation under the NSFC Regional Innovation and Development Joint Fund.
