Collaborative Innovation Center of Guangxi Regional Multi-Source Information Integration and Intelligent Processing (hereinafter referred to as the Center) was established in June 2013. It is led by Guangxi Normal University and includes member institutions such as Beihang University, Nanning Normal University, Guangxi Geographic Information Center, and Guangxi Yangxiang Co., Ltd.
The primary goal of the Center is to serve the informatization of Guangxi's regional industries and the application and protection of strategic information resources. It aims to establish a collaborative innovation research mechanism and an industrial innovation system, conduct innovative scientific research and technical services, and promote the development of scientific research and information industries in the Guangxi region.
The main tasks of the Center include:
- Serving the informatization and social development of Guangxi's regional industries by promoting the deep integration of universities within and outside the region with Guangxi's key industries.
- Rational allocation and integration of research resources to leverage the advantages of both universities and enterprises.
- Focusing on multi-source data discovery, resource integration and processing technologies, and the development of information support systems for Guangxi's pillar industries, as well as their industrial applications, to conduct collaborative innovation research.
- Achieving a number of original and internationally influential scientific research results, advancing a series of core industrial technologies, and forming a pool of intellectual property with industrial benefits to enhance the informatization process of Guangxi's industries.
- Establishing a collaborative innovation research mechanism and an industrial innovation system to cultivate a group of high-level talents with both scientific research and industrial innovation capabilities, making the Center an important base for promoting the innovative development of information technology in Guangxi.
