Joint Academic Annual Meeting of the Key Laboratory of Educational Blockchain and Intelligent Technology, Ministry of Education, and the Guangxi Key Laboratory of Multi-Source Information Mining & Security Successfully Held
On November 8, 2024, the Joint Academic Annual Meeting of the Key Laboratory of Educational Blockchain and Intelligent Technology, Ministry of Education, and the Guangxi Key Laboratory of Multi-Source Information Mining & Security was successfully held at the Yucai Campus of Guangxi Normal University. The meeting was conducted both online and offline, with invited experts from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, National University of Defense Technology, Hunan University, Beihang University, and other institutions, as well as some leaders and faculty members from our university, in attendance.
At the opening ceremony, the principal responsible person of the Party Committee of the School of Computer Science delivered a speech, extending a warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the attending leaders and experts. She provided a detailed introduction to the basic situation of the key laboratories and sincerely thanked the experts for their support in the construction and development of our university's key laboratories. Professor Zhong Bineng from the laboratory presented the annual work report of the Guangxi Key Laboratory of Multi-Source Information Mining & Security, while Professor Li Xianxian, Standing Committee Member of the University Party Committee, Vice President, and Director of the laboratory, presented the annual work report of the Key Laboratory of Educational Blockchain and Intelligent Technology, Ministry of Education. During the annual meeting, the presenters reported on the progress made by the two key laboratories in 2024 in terms of scientific research, talent cultivation, open exchange, and operational management. The expert group fully affirmed the achievements of the two key laboratories in 2024 and engaged in in-depth discussions on talent, projects, and outcomes, offering numerous valuable suggestions for the development of the laboratories.
This academic annual meeting aimed to provide a platform for scholars, researchers, and industry experts in the fields of blockchain and intelligent technology to share the latest research results and discuss future development trends. Through keynote speeches, sub-forums, and academic reports, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on hot topics such as blockchain, intelligent technology, and multi-source information mining and security.
