Computer Science School Holds Forum on Big Data and Intelligent Education Technology

On November 9, 2024, the School of Computer Science and Engineering/Software Engineering hosted the Forum on Big Data and Intelligent Education Technology at the Lecture Hall, located on the second floor of the Yifu Building on the Yucai Campus. The forum featured keynote presentations by Professor Yuan Lei from Guangxi Normal University, Professor Liu Jun from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Professor Xinwang Liu from the National University of Defense Technology, and Dr. Chunpei Li, a postdoctoral researcher from Guangxi Normal University. Over 100 faculty members and graduate students from the school attended the event.

 

During the forum, Professor Yuan Lei shared his research on the construction and practical exploration of intelligent agents empowering interdisciplinary learning in primary and secondary schools. Professor Liu Jun presented his work on the application of large language models in solving mathematical problems. Professor Xinwang Liu offered insights and experiences on applying for National Natural Science Foundation projects. Dr. Chunpei Li discussed the exploration of applications for educational large models and research on trusted federated data collaboration technologies.

 

After the presentations, the four speakers engaged in interactive discussions with the attending faculty and students, patiently addressing questions raised by the audience. Participants expressed that the forum provided them with a deeper understanding of big data, intelligent education technology, and interdisciplinary learning. The event was widely praised for its academic value and practical significance, offering valuable inspiration and guidance for future research and teaching endeavors.
