The Electronics and Information Engineering program is established under the first-level discipline of Software Engineering at Guangxi Normal University’s School of Computer Science and Engineering/Software School. This discipline was granted doctoral program authorization in 2018 and is recognized as a Guangxi First-Class Discipline. The master’s program in Electronics and Information offers broad research directions, including:

1. Computer Technology
This discipline Ffocuses on scientific research and practical applications in computer science, software, electronics, and automation technologies. It  Aaligneds with next-generation technological revolutions, it emphasizinges 
AI theory & applicationsbig data & cloud computing, and IoT & information fusion. The program aims to cultivate high-level interdisciplinary talents with strong foundational knowledge, innovative practical skills, and ethical integrity for modern industrial digital economy sectors.

2. Software Engineering
This disciplin A discipline centereds on engineering approaches to building and maintaining efficient, practical, and high-quality software. It covers programming languages, databases, development tools, system platforms, and design patterns. Students master software engineering theories and methodologies while enhancing engineering practice and foreign language proficiency. Graduates become 
senior software engineers capable of software design, management, and R&D in data processing and related fields.

3. Big Data and Engineering
In this discipline, Trains students are trained to process and analyze large-scale data in the digital era. Students They acquire expertise in industrial big data and intelligent computing, develop data-driven scientific thinking, and gain robust engineering skills. Graduates become 
advanced big data engineers proficient in data analytics, system development, and engineering management.

  • 2022 Guangxi Major Science & Technology Project"R&D and Application of Smart Supply Chain Platform for Agriculture and Livestock Industries" (funding: 9 million CNY), addressing data security and trusted circulation in regional agriculture.

  • 2023 Guangxi Key R&D Project"Key Technologies for Intelligent Human Resource Services" (funding: 1.8 million CNY).

  • Guangxi Natural Science Foundation Innovation Team Project"Key Technologies for Intelligent Visual Understanding in Ethnic Border Regions" (funding: 1 million CNY).
