Ph.D., Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, selected for the Guangxi Hundred Talents Plan for overseas experts. He earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechatronics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2001 and 2004, respectively, and his Ph.D. from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2009, specializing in Computer-Aided Design and Computer Graphics. He has held positions as a Software Engineer at ZTE, a Senior Algorithm Engineer at Huawei, R&D Manager at HKUST-WebEx Research Institute, Development Manager for the Hong Kong JeweICAD/CAM project, faculty member at Harbin Institute of Technology Shenzhen Graduate School, and CTO of Hong Kong Fuyuanxin Technology. He is currently a faculty member at the School of Computer Science, Guangxi Normal University. He has led three National Natural Science Foundation projects, three provincial-level projects, and over 20 horizontal projects. He has published over 60 academic papers and holds more than 40 intellectual property rights, with a focus on industrial applications and technology transfer (recently concentrating on the application of machine vision in industrial fields).
