Ph.D., Professor, Master's Supervisor. His research areas include artificial intelligence, pattern recognition, signal processing, and image processing. Recent major research projects he has led include: 1) A Guangxi Key R&D Program project on short-term warning of major geological disasters based on seismic waveforms; 2) A national nuclear explosion seismology inspection project on event type identification; 3) A National Natural Science Foundation project on seismic source type identification based on seismic waveform characteristics; and 4) A seismic industry research special fund project on a classification decision support system for distinguishing natural earthquakes from artificial explosions. He currently teaches graduate courses on Computer Simulation and Virtual Reality and undergraduate courses on Web Application Development and Robotics. He has published over 100 papers (including SCI, EI, and Chinese core journals) and has supervised 52 graduate students to graduation.
